ABSTRACT
This paper studies information flow in the organization with particular reference to the National Institute of Technology, Uromi, Edo State, Nigeria. The essence of the study, therefore, is to determine the subordinates? perception of their immediate superior officers? level of communication with them and to identify how employees usually receive most of their information. The quantitative research method is adopted, and the questionnaire serves as the research instrument. On the whole, it is gathered that the level of superiors? communication in the Institute is perceived by respondents who are strictly subordinate staff as encouraging and information flow downwards very well from the management but, there is no such avenue for communication to flow from bottom to top. It is therefore recommended that management should create avenues that will encourage a bottom ? thetop flow of information. Full Text
