This research Titled: Edition of a book “shifaul askam fi maarifat Madarikil ahkam” (curing of sickness in relation to knowledge of Islamic laws) Authored by Sultan Muhammad Bello. Aimed at editing the manuscript, and bring it out, away from the spelling and typing mistakes, in order to produce a clean copy, very similar to the original copy of the authored manuscript. The research attempt to give details explanation of the Islamic issues that were treated in the book and make comments and observations where necessary. In view of the above efforts are made to have at least three copies of the manuscript, furthermore, the research consulted a many commentaries of the Quran, Authentic prophetic traditions, science of usul –alfiqh as well as Arabic dictionaries, with the view to bring the book error free.. Lastly, the findings proved that the Sultan Muhammad Bello is the rightful Author of the book, and a lot of typing mistakes were edited in order to give the exact meaning intended by the Author. The book treated so many issues in relation to purifying the one`s mind/soul and his moral conduct.
